Health Outreach Hub

The Health Outreach Hub is a program developed by a partnership between Marrin Weejali's Waluwin Chronic Care Program and WentWest. This Outreach provides educational resources, outreach and relationship opportunities between clients and other health services & ongoing support for individual's experiences chronic illnesses such as Diabetes, Cancer, Kidney Problems, Heart Problems, & Lung Problems.
This Health Outreach provides free health screenings including lung function testing, blood pressure testing, and asthma control tests. We also have available an Aboriginal Eye Clinic, which offers up to 2 pairs of glasses for FREE! The Sexual Health Clinic and links to Diabetes Educator are also available as well as advice & support from our local Emerton Pharmacy.

Employment & Training Outreach Hub

Marrin Weejali is working with a range of Job Network Providers, WSI TAFE Aboriginal Unit, Human Services - Centrelink & the Driving Change Program to deliver a NEW!!! Employment & Training Outreach Hub in 2015.  This Outreach provides connection and re-engagement with Employment & Training providers.  Community accessing this Outreach will receive support with Resume's, Criteria Writing, Jobs & Training.    It is held on the 2nd Monday of each month.

Employment Services attending the Outreach Day are, MYC VTEC Program, White Lion Employment, Break Thru People Solutions, Ability Options Employment, NCAP - Boystown, JobFind Mt Druitt, Wise Employment Mt Druitt, Aboriginal Employment Strategies.









Doonside Koori Outreach

Marrin Weejali participates in the Doonside Men's Koori Outreach,  every Monday @ Ngallu Wal Aboriginal Child & Family Centre, 259 Kildare Rd, Doonside from 10am to 12pm













Financial Counselling

A partnership between Marrin Weejali & Muru Mittigar provides Indigenous Money Mentors who attend our service the 1st Thursday of the month, followed by 2nd, 3rd, 4th Monday's to provide financial counselling, budgeting skills to individuals.  The Mondy Mentors also provide assistance & support with applications for N.I.L.S. (No Interest Loan Scheme).











NSW Legal Aid Civil Law Clinic

A partnership between Mt Druitt & Area Community Legal Centre,  Legal Aid NSW & Marrin Weejali to deliver free clinics for Civil Law and other Law Matters to the Aboriginal Community. These clinics have been delivered since 2009 and continue to provide support, assistance and legal advice with fines, debts, wills & guardianship.












Women's Legal Services NSW

Marrin Weejali & Women's Legal Service NSW have developed a partnership to offer free legal advice clinics for Aboriginal Women. The clinic allows women to come together and discuss legal matters in a safe environment.
